Gerry doesn’t do just ‘portraits’ – he has a special gift which is to read his subject with real emotion and atmosphere. He has a unique eye and captures the inner character of every animal, as well as their outward beauty with stunning lighting and atmosphere. While the surroundings are of paramount importance, Gerry sees right into the soul of his sitter, and he has the ability to be able to tell their story through his lens, enhancing the background with stunning lighting, yet bringing the eye directly to where it needs to be.

I had wanted a professional photo shoot with my boy Terry for years and after a lot of consideration finally contacted Gerry.

From the very start nothing was too much trouble for him. He replied to my messages late in the evening and answered any queries I had.

When the day of the shoot arrived he immediately put my mind at rest and made me feel comfortable. It felt totally natural and didn’t feel forced at all. I explained the theme of photos that I wanted and he also added a few ideas. He was so patient with Terry and I. He then came to my house for a viewing of the photos taken. Again it was totally relaxed and there was no time limit or pressure from Gerry at all. He went through the photos a number of times and would give me his professional opinion if I asked.
The photos were so beautiful and I couldn’t decide on just one so had to buy more.
When the day came to receive the finished products Gerry brought them wrapped up with ribbon.

To finally see the images that he had created was amazing. It felt quite emotional to see mine and Terry’s relationship in pictures. All the love and laughter that my amazing horse gives me was there, framed in front of me.

If you want to have a photo shoot done, I honestly cannot recommend Gerry highly enough. You will not regret a moment of it
